Spamset Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
1. About Spamset
Spamset is a free watch app for small workout breaks, available for Wear OS and Zepp OS watches. It is published by CJohnD, operated by CIOCHINARU IONUȚ-DANIEL PERSOANĂ FIZICĂ AUTORIZATĂ, registered in Romania (CUI 54408077, EUID ROONRC.F2026017755005). This policy covers Spamset only; CheckMate has its own privacy policy.
Spamset has no account, no ads and no purchases. It runs entirely on your watch and sends nothing to us.
2. What the app stores on your watch
- The exercise sets you choose to log: exercise, repetitions or seconds, date and time, and your daily goal at that time.
- Your settings: reminder interval, active hours, reminder days, break mode, daily goal, exercise and equipment choices, personal targets, optional effort answers and progressive-overload adjustments.
- A record summary: your best amount per exercise and your daily-goal streaks, with dates.
Spamset reads the watch's screen size and shape to lay out its screens, and the watch's date and time for history and reminders.
3. Heart rate and steps
When you start a set, Spamset asks for permission to read your heart rate. For movement exercises it also reads the step counter (on Wear OS this needs the physical-activity permission). You can refuse; the set still works and shows "--".
Readings are used only to show your heart rate and step change during that set. If you choose Log set, the saved entry can include elapsed time, average and maximum heart rate, the number of heart-rate readings and the steps taken during the set. Individual heart-rate readings and your daily step total are not saved. Sensors are released when the set ends, is discarded or reaches its ten-minute limit.
4. Reminders and notifications
If you turn reminders on, Spamset schedules alarms with the watch's alarm system and shows notifications containing the suggested exercise, its target amount and any equipment it needs. Notifications can be seen by anyone looking at your watch. They never include heart-rate or step data.
5. Sharing
Spamset sends nothing to us or to anyone else. It contains no network access, cloud sync, analytics, advertising or third-party tracking. Google Play, Wear OS, Zepp OS, the Zepp app and your watch maker operate their own services under their own policies.
6. Keeping and deleting your data
History shows the last 90 days; older entries are removed the next time the app saves. Settings, targets and records stay until you uninstall. Undo removes the latest logged set. Uninstalling Spamset deletes its data from the watch. There is no server copy to delete.
7. Children
Spamset is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
8. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Questions: [email protected].
